Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my nice 1971 Triumph Spitfire. It has the usual scratches you would expect to find in a 40 year old car but over all in very nice condition. I have owned it for a little over a year and has never let me down. Only the tax man forces the sale. The interior is very clean and has a Kenwood AM/FM CD player and Aiwa speakers in the back. All the gauges and lights are in working order. The tires are in like new condition. The convertible top is also in like new condition. In the trunk you will find the spare tire with cover, convertible top boot, and the tonneau cover. The windshield has 2 wiper marks that may be able to be buffed out. The battery is new as well as the clutch, alternator, front brake hoses, remanufactured brake calipers, pads, rotors clutch slave cylinder, belt, oil pressure switch, valve cover gasket, wiper blades and fuel filter. I have all receipts from the work professionally done. The clock reads just over 31,000 but I can't be sure of that. I don't think it is 131,000-it is really in to good of shape. There is a small tap in the front bumper and the hood will need to be worked on. There are 2 small repaired areas just below the hood latches-filler. Also included is the original owners manual in the protective plastic sleeve, Haynes repair manual and all receipts as well as the other parts that I have already described in the trunk. This is a great car to drive and restore as you go. A $250.OO non-refundable deposit is due when auction ends. Shipping is the buyers responability but what ever I can do to help I will. Please ask any questions before bidding. Thank you & Happy Bidding.
