For sale - 1999 Ford Explorer 4DR 112" WB XLS 4WD SUV 4-door. I purchased the truck used at 75,000 miles and it runs the same as when I bought it - in other words it runs fine but is a bit grumbly/underpowered at times as it is a v6. The truck currently has 185,000 miles. I've taken good care of it - servicing it regularly, keeping up with the brakes and fliuds and changing the oil every 3,000 miles. Truck has power windows and doors, keyless entry, a/c, cruise control, cd/tape deck, window rain shields and Westin grill and light guards. I've never had any issues with the truck, fixing only one of the front wheel bearings and the engine and trans are original. Brakes were done within the year and tires are about 1.5 years old. There are some minor things I never bothered to fix; there is rust on both step up bars, some minor exterior scratches, cd player works periodically, ash tray door is missing, one rear door does not open from the inside but does from the outside and the wind shield fluid sprayer and rear wiper no longer work. Truck was in a minor accident where I rear ended a vehicle that stopped short at a slow speed. My grill guard took the damage which was replaced along with a cracked light casing and front bumper that was dented. It interested please e-mail me to set up an appointment or to discuss.
