1959 Buick Invicta Convertible Considered to be the sport model of that production year. Branded “ The most Spirited” by General Motors. Being the sport model, it was equipped with the 401 4 barrel V8, which is very powerful. Not your Grandpa’s Electra and not an entry level Lesabre. The 1959 Indy pace car was a Buick convertible in these colors. This Invicta is equipped with power steering and brakes, radio, factory clock, speed alert, and power convertible top. I am the third owner, and have documents from the original family who bought it new in Pennsylvania. She has only 76K original miles, and runs as good as she looks. The interior is original with the exception of a new carpet. One repaint many years ago. The car is a nice driver quality, and is rock solid. Spare tire and original jack still in the trunk. All gauges and speedometer work as they should. Engine runs cool in warm weather and has great oil pressure. It has been a pleasure to drive and show, and always draws attention. Not often will you see one at a show, never mind a white and red rag top. One similar to this car just sold for over 30K. I can offer this one for thousands less. Drive as is or do a light restoration. I left a some meat on the bone for the next owner ( low reserve). I'll leave the car on the lift for anyone interested in seeing it up close.
