Vehicle Detail
This is a low hour TRX250r, engine is stock and on stock bore and NOT modified. Most of the engine and carb seals have been expertly replaced with honda OEM parts due to the age, all is in PERFECT running condition, this one is as clean as they get. List of MODS 1. Burgard +1+14130 chromoly Long Travel a arms (powder coded silver to match stock color) 2. Works triple rate Long travel shocks set up for 220 lb rider. 3.Burgard +1 anti vibe 4130 chomoly steering stem with renthal Fatbars (honda cr cend) 4. Rear shock is a custom Schmity (ESC honda) revalve and modded with dual rate, zero preload and modded for long travel. set for 220 lb rider. This quads gets 11 inches of travel front and rear and is super plush , night and day difference from most other stock quads. 5. Has OEM OHtsu 250r tires (2 years aged) on ITP PRO baja wheels which have dual bead reinforced rings. Rolled edge are stock ones are, all 4 are mint with no dents and tires are about 95% left. Front wheels are 4+1 offset (stock) and rears are 6+3 offset, which shifts them about 1 inch out on each side and squares up with the long travel +1 in the front. A great combination with this suspension. Motor bone stock but did upgrade to 89 style clutch and forged billet clutch basket with OEM friction plates and Barnett steel plates (only the best of the best). It was never a problem but I wanted to bullet proof the clutch as many stock clutches did fail on these years 250r's. Inside the motor looks brand new, never had a clutch failure or contamination of any sort. Engines sounds tight, no bearing noise, no knock, no whinning, just sounds perfect as a new 250r would sound like. Exhaust is stock with FMF turbine core spark arrester. Also can included the stock silencer if you want it. NO oil leaks etc, all stays dry.... Carb is stock and jetted stock but option jets are included in the tool kit. Lighting is updated with a special (custom) Dual HID ballasts hi-low and Dual bulb H4 setup. Nothing on the bike harness was cut of modified, all is 100% reversable and no changes were made to stock wiring, or stator or harness. I made a supplemental harness with dc rectifer and small batt to run the hid systems. Results are awesome, Probbaly gives out 2-3 times the light ouput, and looks stock. About a 400-500 dollar upgrade here. ballasts are digital 55w-35w . all stock switches where used and again nothing was hacked or moddified on bike, all is 100% reversable as I wanted to keep the original value on this atv. All brake fluids have been flushed and replaced last year, all in good condition. Original pads are still like new, very little hours on this atv. NO DENTS ON FRAME or SWINGARM, NO DENTS ON WHEELS, all tracks perfectly straight, this ATV has never been flipped etc. Front bumber is a oem and rear grab bar are alluminum (lighter weight) Has cr style clutch perch and Honda oem able and oem dust protector. Also has (New) cr250 twist thtottle with rubber cover. All the details have been patiently worked out and can assure this atv is not only clean but ready to use. Need nothing. Owned by Ex-race car prep technician and have been around the 250r's for about 20 years. I know exactly what I have and what I am selling. A clean stock 250r in this conditioin goes for at least $5000. Add long travel, HID, some of the mods, you would be over $8000 Not to mention these are hard finds, in this condition. I would take $7500 as a buy it now. For more pics email me rgmotorsports@sbcglobal.net Buyer is responsible for pick up or arranging pick up with shipping company.
