1989 Honda CR 125 – Ohlins Shock Bike is in excellent condition. The mid 80 CR 125’s had motors far and away better than the competition. The motor has been completely gone through. Cases were split. All bearings and seals were replaced. The crankshaft and rod were retained as they were within spec but bearings were replaced. Transmission, clutch, and shift forks were inspected also. A new Wiseco Top End was installed. Cylinder lining was in excellent condition. The bike is in race ready order. Here are a few highlights: Rebuilt Motor Powder Coated Frame and Subframe FMF Pipe and Silencer – silencer just repacked Ohlins shock with new spring for 175 lb rider New fenders (minor scratches on side plates and shrouds) Wide foot pegs Wheel Bearings Replaced Radiator guards Aluminum FLY Handlebars CR Bend New front brake seals New braided steel front brake line New front brake pads New Air Filter New Fork seals and oil New Fork BootsChain and sprockets near new Stock Shock Included as spare The bike runs and performs tight and as it did when new. The cylinder showed little use to stock nikasil lining. Hubs are in great shape. Rims show wear but have no flat spots. It is race ready. The only thing it would need are springs to the foot pegs as the stock ones didn’t quite extend into retaining hole. Swingarm bearings are fine as is chain slider. Also linkage is greased and good to go. There is a small wear mark on seat cover (right rear) where you can see the seat foam. It is roughly the size of a nickel. New tires would be advisable for your area terrain composition and the fact that the existing tires are worn. Bike will be sold with Bill of Sale. Buyer to pay for Shipping. I accept Paypal.
