This truck has had three owners; I have owned ith since 1976 and have driven and maintained it every year thereafter. The first owner change out the IH 6 cylinder back in the 1960's with a 283 Chevy. I replaced the 283 with a 327 Chevy with 42,000 miles and have put less than 10,000 miles on that. The engine runs great, no oil leaks, no smoking. For a smoother ride I have changed the rear springs, replaced all four shocks and installed radial tires. This truck has neve been stored or left in a field to rust away. Four years ago I removed the bed to clean and paint the under carriage; I also changed bolts and bushings. Recent work includes: rebuilt bumpers, rebuilt rear end, rebuilt transfer case, front hubs and bearings checked and packed, new brakes, new dual mufflers, new tail light wiring, new glass and felt, carpet and upholstery. The body is pretty straight needing a few dings fixed. The tailgate could be replaced. At present it is primer gray with no rusting through on the body. Great truck!
