Vehicle Detail
Pleae read entire listing, I will try to outline this car the best I can but if you have any questions please ask before bidding. The car is available for viewing in Tarpon Springs Florida by appointment. All bids are final so if you are unsure of anything please ask first. 2001 Pontiac SLP Firehawk, white exterior, black leather interior and T Tops, 5.7 LS1 engine with a six speed manual transmission. This is a true SLP model that comes with every option including the full SLP treatment. It has just over 92k miles and has been very well maintained and cared for. I purchased the car about a year ago with the intentions to turn it into a track day road course car but that never happend. The carfax report was run when I purchased it and only showed a minor rear end collision very early in the vehilces life that was professionally repaired and there is no signs of it now. I have made many upgrades to this car over the last year and I will try to list them all but if there is something I forgot I will update this listing so check back frequently or ask. I have only put 3k miles total on the car since buying it and have done the following in that time. New flowmaster american thunder cat back exhaust installed, weld in sub-frame connectors installed, front brakes upgraded to drilled slotted rotors and performance pads ( I also have the rear matching rotors and pads but no time to install them so they are being sold with the car but not installed), Hurst billet plus shifter, new belt, coolant change, upgraded stereo installed, and full window tint. I also installed a set of Yokohama S drive tires shortly after buying the car and all the listed items were professionally installed. The car has the ceramic coated SLP headers and carbon SLP ram air airbox with a K&N filter plus the upgraded SLP suspension package and composite ram air hood. Features included leather interior, power windows, locks, driver's seat, brakes, steering, driver and passenger side airbags, ABS brakes, ice cold A/C, power mirrors, traction control. This car runs and drives very strong as you can imagine and is not for the weak at heart. It needs nothing but there are a few minor flaws that would make it perfect. At one time the passenger side headlight door hit the corner of the hood and chiped about a nickel size piece of paint off. There is also a small imperfection in the rear of the hood near the window. I got a quote from a body shop to re-spray the hood and it was going to cost $250.00 to make it perfect. It never really bothered me much so I did not go ahead with the repair. There is also a very light scratch on the driver side quater just above the wheel that could most likely be buffed out and is barely noticeable. The passenger fog light had a broken lens so I pulled it off and just the housing remains (they are 30 bucks on ebay and easy to install). The rest of the body is very clean and the paint is beutiful. The interior is also exceptionally clean with little to no wear in the common areas. The leather seats are near perfect and the dash is flawless. The only issue I found with the interior is both door panel have slight cracks on the rear upper sections. It looks like someone tried to take them off improperly and when I was installing the new speakers I noticed they had been repaired from the rear so they will not crack further. The small triangle shaped piece that covers the mirror bolts from the inside is missing, but they are only about 20 bucks from pontiac. Everything in the car works and nothing mechanical needs attention. I have tried to list all of the good and bad points about this car but again if you would like to stop by and check it out please send me a message. I would also be willing to drive it to a local shop for inspection but that must be set up by the buyer and nearby Tarpon Springs. I wish I had the time to complete this project but my loss is your gain. With very little effort this car would be flawless and perfect example of an SLP Firehawk. The few cosmetic issues are so small and never bothered me enough to fix so I focused on the performance upgrades. I feel my buy it now is fair and the reserve is low for this car given it's condition and upgrades. I will try to answer any questions you might have quickly. If you would like any specific pictures of anything I will also try to get them done as fast as possible. The pictures in this listing were taken today as you can see in the lower right hand corner so there is no question about the current condition. It is as you see it!! This car comes with no warranty and is being sold as is, buyer to pay any shipping costs but I would be willing to work with you somewhat if that is worked out prior to the auction end. A deposit of $500.00 is due via paypal within two days (48hrs) of auction end and the balance due within 7 days of auction end in either cash, money order, or certified bank check. I will not release the car until funds are secured so please don't ask. I have a clean and clear title in hand ready to go. Thank you and happy bidding!!
