1998 Tacoma Extended Cab white 4x4 Automatic overdrive with 3.4 V6 engine. 355,300 miles. Body, engine, transmission are in good shape. Power steering leaks a little since those hoses have never been changed. Hoses aren’t veru expensive. I just put on a brand new alternator that only has 10 miles on it,just drove it from shop to back home.New battery put on in Jan. of this year. Four wheel drive works without any problems. Electric windows, pwr brakes, air condition works really good. Power steering pump whines but still works fine. All fan belts have recently been changed.Front brake pads just replaced with the expensive metallic type. Tinted windows, rear sliding window, tow hitch with 5 flat wire hook up, also has the rear “Add a Leaf” kit that raised the rear about 5 inches higher and will also haul extra weight. Has the stock Toyota CD/AM/FM/Cassette but the CD player part doesn’t work, may just need cleaning. The wire under the steering wheel is probably worn because the horn and cruise control both quit at the same time. To replace that is a minor repair for a mechanic. A horn button has temporarily been mounted on the console. Other than those few minor things, the truck is in good running condition. The body is in good shape but has scratches and dings , no major dents or any rust. Has never been in an accident. Because of being in a county where Hurricane Ike came thru, it has been listed as being in a storm area.The truck was not in any kind of storm damage at all.Windshield has no cracks or dings at all. Bucket seats and steering wheel are very worn but could be fixed with seat covers and a slip on steering wheel cover. I found seat covers with matching steering wheel cover on Ebay for a little over $50. Please check out the pics of the seats before bidding.They are worn. Tires are fair, on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being best, probably between 4-5. This is a non smoker.I've owned it for 7 years and have never had anyone smoke in it. Oil and filter were changed at regular intervals between 3,000 and 4,000 miles. Engine doesn't burn any oil except first time started in the morning there is a puff of oil smoke. Transmission and transfer case were replaced a little over a year ago. Engine has never been touched. Full size spare with chrome wheel that matches the other wheels on truck.Truck has 15 inch tires. Don't let the high mileage discourage, it should be able to do another 100,000+. I drove this truck 162 miles everyday to work and back until I recently bought another one. It has been very dependable. I’m listing the reserve at $3900, which is $1,000 below what Kelly Blue Book and NADA both say it’s worth.They list private selling cost at $4900. Any of the minor repairs, new seat covers, etc. will be well below the $1000. I am allowing for this for you to buy seat covers or either go to a salvage yard to buy seats.With only 4 bolts in the floor for each seat,that is a very simple solution.The seat belt on drivers side is also worn and could be replaced at a salvage yard also. None of these minor things effect the running of the truck,it's ready to drive now. I won’t do shipping but will be glad to assist in any way I can.
