These stripped down models without a back seat were the low cost cars in the Chevy line up for 1951. They were used for years by traveling salesmen to carry sample cases of merchandise. Chevrolet sold only 17,020 business coupes in the production year, 1951 making this car very rare indeed! At a cost of $1460.00 they were the cheapest Chevy car.
