Description PRESENTED FOR YOUR REVIEW AND PURCHASE IS AN EXCELLENT EXAMPLE OF A TRUE BELVEDERE SPORT SUBURBAN WAGON. THE INTERIOR DOOR PANELS ARE ALL ORIGINAL AS IS THE HEADLINER WHICH IS THE UNIQUE CORRUGATED PLASTIC USED IN THAT MODEL. THE SEATS HAVE BEEN CORRECTLY REUPHOLSTERED WITH MATCHING MAYFLOWER FABRIC AND VINYL. THE DASH AND STEERING WHEEL ARE COMPLETELY ORIGINAL AND ALL GAUGES FUNCTION CORRECTLY. THE CARPETS ARE NEW AND PERIOD CORRECT .WE HAVE A CD PLAYER MOUNTED IN THE GLOVE BOX WITH A 12 VOLT BATTERY SITTING IN THE PICNIC BASKET WITH A SET OF STANDING SPEAKERS. IT IS ALL REMOVABLE WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE. THE PAINT IS THE ORIGINAL PALMETO PEACH WITH THE NUTMEG BROWN ACCENT. THE BODY IS VERY STRAIGHT AND RUST FREE BUT SADLY THE PREVIOUS OWNER IMPROPERLY PREPAIRED THE HOOD AND THE ROOF FOR REPAINT AND A CHEMICAL REACTION HAS CAUSED THE PAINT TO BLISTER. SHOWS BADLY ON THE HOOD AND A SLIGHT IMPERFECTION ON THE ROOF. CAR IS POWERED BY THE FLATHEAD INLINE SIX CYLINDER ORIGINAL ENGINE WHICH APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN REBUILT AND RUNS STRONG AND SMOOTH, COUPLED TO THE THREE SPEED COLUMN SHIFT TRANSMISSION. CLUTCH AND BRAKES ARE EFFECTIVE AND THE TIRES APPEAR TO BE NEAR NEW. CAR COULD BE USED AS AN EVERYDAY DRIVER OR COULD BE UPGRADED TO SHOW CONDITION WITH A FRESH COAT OF PAINT ON HORIZONTAL SURFACES.
