Vehicle Detail

This has been a great old car for me. Always started, ran and stopped when I needed it. It was my daily driver for several years. I was always annoyed by people who left a car out back to rot because "they were going to fix it up someday" Well, The tabs were up last year and there are 2 cars ahead of this one to drive, so I came to the conclusion that I was about to be one of them and figured here would be a good place to find a new home for it. I've covered most everything in the pics, but if you have any questions or would like further details please ask. I am not trying to make a quick buck, I'm trying to find a good old car a place where it will be loved so I've gone out of my way to make sure I cover everything I can think of including the bad parts. The body is basically solid, there is some old repairs made in the back quarters, but nothing else was touched. The other rust issues in this car are the trunk lid, the drivers side door, and the inner fender on the drivers side where every one of them seems to rust out (I've looked for replacement parts over the years, they all have the same problems). None of these affect the drivability of the car. It currently starts runs and stops, though the gas is over a year old, so a basic tune up and new gas would make a world of difference. The floor has a couple of patches in it and the carpet was removed to make sure I didn't miss any holes. The front seat needs to be completely redone but the back seat is virtually unused. The trunk pan is in amazingly good shape. The missing trim piece on the back window is sitting inside the car. This car was sold radio delete from the factory, as far as I know, the dash is unmodified under the delete plate., the antenna that I never bothered to remove ran to a CB unit (not installed anymore) The temp gauge tends to be iffy and a more modern one was put in mounted with a trim screw to not add any unnessesary holes. There are a couple of holes drilled by a previous owner but nothing that is easy to see or hard to fix. The tires are currently 13" in the front and 14" in the back, I will include a couple decent tires/rims to allow you to go all 13" if you want. Those old dart rims can be hard to find, so a couple of spares are nice to have. All 4 correct hubcaps will also be included. They have been hanging in my shop for years so I didn't lose/damage them. I am also still looking for the title, I know I have it here somewhere, but have not yet located it. If I can't I'd be glad to do a direct transfer at any licensing place, or the car will come with a release of interest. Note, The car will NOT come with the personalized plates I've had for the last 12 years. I have no idea where the old ones are so you will have to get new plates for the car. If you win the auction and want it, the car can also come with a spare /6 motor and transmission out of a '66 coronet that had pretty low miles that was parted out by a friend of mine. I've kept it around for spare parts and have used a couple of them but most of it is still there including brackets etc... This would be a great platform for a nice light race car, and wouldn't be to bad as a platform for a restoration, or you could just drive it for the next 5-10 years getting mid 20's - 30mpg and never worry about emmisions. I will also gladly deliver the car within about 400 miles for $1 a mile, anything outside of that will be $2 a mile (so I can eat and stay in a hotel) Picking up the car here is also an option if you wish. If you are local you are welcome to come by and check the car out. It is also for sale locally and will cancel the auction early if sold. non refundable $200 deposit via Paypal required within 72 hours payment must be made in full before the car leaves my driveway. I expect everything to be completed and arranged for delivery within 7 days or I will assume you do not want the car and I will relist it. Note, I cannot deliver a car to Canada so if you are bidding from up there you will have to arrange shipping yourself. EDIT: While I was moving the car back int he shop tonight I realized that it is the battery gauge and not the tamp gauge that is aftermarket. Sorry for any confusion.
