Vehicle Detail
Rare 1995 Madza Miata with the R Package. 465 of these ready for the track racers were made in '95,The R package was a $1500 option package and included a factory specified sport suspension (Bilstein shocks, heavy-duty rear springs, heavier sway bars), rear spoiler, front air dam, rear skirt, alloy wheels, Torsen limited slip differential The R package was not available with power steering, automatic transmission or Popular Equipment and Leather option packages. Besides the hardtop, the only option available for this car was air conditioning, which this one has and blows extremely cold. This Miata runs great with no known issues. I've only had it a short time, but the previous owner had it for about 4 years. I have all of his receipts for work completed by him. The only thing I've done is add a new set of tires. Past work done by the previous owner included the adding of the roll bar, the California smog legal Monster Flow Intake (which gives it a great sound in addition to the performance benefits of a cold air intake) (original air box goes with the car also). The top in is excellent condition, however the rear window is fogged up pretty good. It could stand to be replaced. Both the clutch slave cylinder and radiator were replaced right before I bought it. The paint is fair. It looks great from about 10 feet away, any closer and you start to see small imperfections. The title is clean and clear, but I believe CARFAX indicates a past collision on the front passenger side. This has all been repaired and the car doesn't seem to suffer any ill effects from it. The passenger door appears to have been replaced at some point. It works great and it aligned perfect, but you can see in some areas, if you're looking closely that the door was previously red. It has an older Alpine cassette deck installed with an Alpine 6 disc changer in the trunk. It also has a small Alpine amp for the front Boston Accoustics speakers and a JL 250 sub amp along with an 8" bazooka tube that sits nicely on the parcel tray (not shown in pictures). The car is blast to drive. I bought it to be a weekend toy, but my daughter is just getting her license and she has her eyes on a larger car. I'm sure I haven't put 500 miles on it in the few months that I've had it. Hate to see it go, but hopefully someone else will enjoy it for what it is. This would be a great way to start Autocrossing or even for Club Racing. Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Local inspections and/or test drives are encouraged. Shipping is the buyers responsibility, but I will assist in anyway that I can.
