This car comes from the Doris Duke Estate and has covered 13000 miles only. When I purchased the car in May 09 the odometer read 11052 miles however, the DUKE ESTATE made an error when reporting the mileage and mixed the Jag up with another car being sold from the Estate and so if you check with DMV it currently states that the mileage is 50000. I now have all the paperwork from the Doris Duke estate which corrects this mistake and has now been sent off to DMV for processing This should now have been done. The true mileage is now 14000. This is a stunning XJS. She drives like new and everything works as it should with no issues. The pictures speak for themselves however I would always welcome and suggest you take a look at her. I would welcome any inspection. I collect Jaguars. I'm fastidious about how they look and run. She has been completely serviced and overhauled with new tires and a new coat of paint. I painted her as the paint had faded in some areas and was impossible to match i would give the paint job an 8 out of 10 she looks gorgeous. She is sold as seen. This car was dry stored in California for many years and has zero rust anywhere. The original Lattice wheels are as new with new Pirelli P6 tires fitted. She is also fitted with a new stainless steel exhaust system and new high performance cats. Fantastic value for the money. A gorgeous elegant car for peanuts!! On Sep-29-10 at 13:52:17 PDT, seller added the following information: ALL DOCUMENTATION FROM THE DORRIS DUKE ESTATE IS AVAILABLE TO CONFIRM THE MILEAGE OF THIS CAR SO WHEN YOU COME TO REGISTER HER THE TRUE MILEAGE WILL BE RECORDED BY DMV. DMV ALREADY HAVE THE INFORMATION TOO.
