Thank you for browsing my auction. For your consideration in this no-reserve offering: 1999 Toyota Sienna Minivan (For Parts or Repair - Not Running) I am the second owner of this vehicle, and I have a clear title in-hand. Last October (2009), the gear shifter broke off the column, leaving me stranded down a few blocks from my house. Using a long screwdriver and a little help from my father-in-law who knows about such things, I was able to put it in drive and get it back to my house and park it in the side yard. Sadly, it has been parked there ever since. I procrastinated on getting it towed in and repaired, and it soon became a lawn ornament. Upon closer inspection, the area of the steering column where the shifter attached was pot metal, and a section of that part broke off. It appears that it would be cheaper to replace that entire section of column. I remember checking on the price for a used replacement, and it was around $125 if I remember correctly. About six months ago, I charged the battery and tried to start it. I was thinking about limping it over to the garage for an estimate. The van would not start, as it has been sitting too long. Prior to this van becoming inoperable, I can tell you that the engine always ran smooth and great. The air conditioning has always been ice cold, and has never needed repairing. Some owner known issues are as follows: - There are some dents on the hood. - The door handle to the driver's side sliding door is missing. - I was about to have the front end looked at for a possible CV joint issue or something similar. - There are misc dents, dings, scratches, blems and stains in and around this vehicle. I can not turn on the ignition to read the odometer, but I am sure that the milage is right around 120,000. Service has always been kept up on the engine since I bought it in 2003. (It had about 30,000 miles on it when I bought it.) The van comes with the title and one regular key. I'm sure I can come accross the spare key and the electronic door opener at some point and can send it to you if you are interested. For bidding purposes, assume it does not come with anything other than one key. Here is the bottom line ladies and gentlemen: I have given up on doing anything with this vehicle, and I need it out of my yard before the code enforcement folks come looking for me. It does not run, and is being sold AS-IS. You will have to come tow it away. I will not "Part it Out" on my property, so please don't ask.
