1979 Ford F150 4 wheel drive short bed pick up with a shell, currently a nice daily driver. This well kept Ford F150 Ranger is equippted with a 400 V8 motor , rebuilt C6 automatic transmission. A new 4 barrel 550 edelbrock carb was installed. The motor starts immediately and runs STRONG and smooth. A new alternator installed on 04/2010 with a 1 year warranty. A new battery is in place.The truck has power steering and power brakes. The truck is equippted with factory air conditioning , however it will need a new A/C clutch. The truck shifts into 4 wheel drive well and runs fantastic in 4wd.The tires are matched along with the wheels; the size is 32 x 11.50x 15LT with good tread left. The front of the truck is solid, grill is nice and one piece and protected by a heavy duty chrome pushbar/guard. Chrome Nerf step bars are present. The overall paint is good ;appears to have been repainted long ago, there are two spots on drivers side door appears to have been worked approximately 3 by 4 inches; overall body is good. The interior is nice, with the benchseat and carpet replaced the last year to a nice matching blue. The truck was parked for 6 years until the transmission was replaced. The truck has dual tanks, however only one tank is working due to a failed tank switch. The truck bed is nice, not abused. The shell is in great condition and all glass is intact. The door felt on the doors will need to be replaced. The tailgate opens and closes easily. The chrome rear bumper has two small dings and a small bend to the outside corner. A nice hitch is installed . No serious rust to report, the panels appear straight, door jambs are clean, NO rust, floor pans are solid.
