Mechanically good pickup truck. Engine and tranny strong. Body has some rash. No Rust. This body is from the era when GM and Chrysler were using aluminized steel in the body so it wouldn't rust. They didn't rust but it was hard to make paint stick to it. This truck was primed and painted so it would stick. There is a bash in the drivers door and a dent in the left rear of the truck bed. You can see the bash in the pictures. Power steering, power brakes. Front and rear brake drums, rotors (new, not turned) and pads, etc were replaced less than 3000 miles ago. There is a tailgate vinyl closure that cuts wind resistance, no steel tail gate. Tires are good. Has a Class III hitch and ball with a electrical plug for trailer lights and electric brakes. The trailer brake control in the cab is plumbed into the brake system so it automatically activated with the brake and can be hand applied as well overriding the brake so you can brake with the trailer. There is a bladder air lift on the rear axel for increasing load and keeping the truck level. Blows cold air, heater works, AM-FM Cassette Stereo radio works. The truck is not clean and pretty but very dependable. I have used Lucas Oil and Fuel treatment in the vehicle because there are semi trucks with Cummins Diesels with well over a million miles on them and the heads haven't been off yet because they use these products. Why not use it? Available at any auto parts store. Interior is red cloth seats red carpet. Fire extinguisher. New battery. Recent voltage regulator. Turbo and injectors are good. Injector pump was replaced at about 75000 miles. Don't know why it broke. It is unusual. No fluid leaks that I know of. No muffler and don't intend to put one on because with the turbo it isn't loud. Suggest you look at the truck before you buy it. There is no warranty whatsoever even concerning the description. The right side electric door lock and window does not work. I haven't had a need to use the door for a couple years and it is frozen locked. Left side door lock works but window is sluggish. The truck has not been on a hiway for a year, only used to pull things on the lot and usually runs about 3 or 4 times a week. I don't use it enough to keep. Truck is at East Peoria Illinois. I have an #18000 fifth wheel bed mount hitch with brand new attaching hardware that IS NOT INCLUDED with the truck but can be bought for $300 including the new attaching hardware (that cost $90). The hitch was never installed on this truck. Must pay $500 by PayPal at end of auction and balance by USA CURRENCY, CASH ONLY or you can transfer the balance by PayPal, also. No checks, no cashiers checks, no money orders - period!!! People print these things on their computer printers all the time. Don't ask. If this isn't acceptable, don't bid. I'm starting at a low price of $2000. The engine and tranny are worth $3500 alone but I won't part out. Vehicle is sold AS IS, WHERE IS.
