Last auction Jeep did not meet reserve but owner has substantially reduced reserve. Due to timewaster bidders any bidder who does not have 5 or more positive feedbacks will be eliminated . If you are serious AND have the money then please bid , otherwise please go waste your time elswhere . If you want to make an offer , then call the owner at the number listed and if agreed a BUY It Now can be added as long as reserve has not been met. Once again for those with reading impairment -ClearTexas Title 1969 CJ-5 This wonderful CJ-5 has only 44,995 original miles . It has only had three owners and was primarily used in west and south Texas on hunting leases and ranch work . When not in use it was either in a garage or run off to the pole barn when Momma wanted her spot back .It is covered in dust. It is what it is . It is not licensed or inspected but does have a clear blue Texas title .It has lots of dings and scratches and surface rust where the paint is chipped or rubbed off . There are two spots on each side of the jeep where rust has come thru and it is in the typical jeep rust areas , between the inner brace and side of the body right in front of where you step in . I tried to take pictures showing these two areas .The floors are very solid with no rust thru. The dark spots on the floorboards are some surface rust and glue residue where a prior owner has glued a mat to the floor. It has a very heavy duty towbar and custom rear bumper that will outlast the jeep . It has a brand new battery and this little gem starts right up with just a quick turn of the key. No pumping and praying (or cussing) to get it started .The original AMC Dauntless V-6 runs great . It also has manual Warn hubs .The mud tires are in great shape with deep tread but are off road only and not recommended for pavement . I am listing this jeep for a friend who does not have access or the patience for computers . Please call Jeff at 210-241-1288 for any questions .
