This truck runs well and has a good engine and transmission. It is not drivable as is. It needs a new clutch, which can be installed for about $150. It comes with a matching camper shell. It was originally a 3-speed, on the column. The linkage broke and I replaced it with a Hurst shifter, on the floor. The engine has a slight tap; however, I believe all it needs is a valve adjustment. This noise does not increase with rpm and disappears after the engine is warm. The engine has a high torque output, making it very good for pulling and hauling. It would make a great first truck, or work truck. The tailgate needs some work; it stays in place, but is difficult to open and close. (You have to lift up hard on the handle to open or close it.) It gets around 21 mpg. (When the carburetor is tuned in well, it gets around 24 mpg.) The interior has some wear to it. The dash is missing some of the covering; however, this does not affect the instruments at all, just the looks. The heater works very well, but there is no air conditioning.
