This is the last of two remaining cars in my personal collection I am selling because of retiring. I have owned this car for over 20 years since it had approx 27,000 miles on it. I have driven this car from South Carolina to Florida and back twice in the last 5 years. It rides and drives great. I still drive it around here once in a while but it shows 62,200 miles on it today which I stand behind to be original miles.Fresh paint last year and new top and carpet 2 years ago. Has nice original seats. Please check my other auction. Don't be afraid to make an offer, try a trade, or just plain ask questions. What can I say? Red/Red/White top. Not any better color combination out there as far as I am concerned.(check my other car for sale) I think they only made 6700 LTD Convertibles in '71 and the only other year they made LTD convertibles was '72! It has the 400 c.i. engine and automatic transmission I bought this car in Charlotte, NC in 1989 after Huricane Hugo. A tree limb had fallen on the top and tore the vinyl top and I replaced it immediately(no damage to the working parts). I wanted a good car for the Beach(Grand Strand area). I replaced all the quarters and doors and hood with either NOS new or reconditioned used. The trunk lid is the only original piece on the car. The floor pans as well as inner fender liners and trunk are in near perfect condition. The only known problem with the car is the A/C needs charged(about once every two years). The engine and transmission works fine as does the power steering and power brakes. Tires are near new. NADA book is well over $22k on this car and I have well over $25k in it.
