I am selling my 1971 BMW R75/5, which is running well and fully titled. Needs a little cosmetic tlc, or just ride her as is! (many collectors like to leave 'em dusty!). The odometer reads 48647, and this is original as found in a New England barn. I installed a new wiring harness, cleaned carbs and added fresh gas, and after years of storage, BAROOOOM! Very fun to ride, the seat is a little rough but can easily be re-covered or replaced. The tank is large and is in very good condition. I will include the knee pads also. Headlight needs bulb...other small things, cheap stuff, though. Some chrome is pretty pitted, like the pipes, but all parts work. Tried to show as much as possible in the photo's. The vin number is 2976462, stamped on frame and motor. This bike is for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end this listing should that occur. This would make a nice, "clean up" project this winter, a little elbow grease, and she should shine up nicely. Great price for a running, titled collectable!
