1978 Corvette pace car #3166 of 6500 ever built, The car is in beautiful condition inside and out. Its a two owner car that's been off the road road for 15 years, I found the car in Pennsylvania from its second owner that had it garaged for the past 15years. Car started on the second shot with a fresh tank of gas and fresh oil, car runs and drives beautifully and straight as an arrow. Everything works on this car as it should, power windows work perfectly, all lights and gauges work, wipers and headlight function perfectly. The interior of the car is in excellent condition, front carpet is in great shape, seats are flawless with no rips or tears of any kind, mirror t-tops with the leather bags. The exterior of the car is in great shape for its age, you can tell the car was painted some years ago back in the 80's with the original lacquer paint and not today's urethane technology, the paint is still in great shape but is starting to show its age in a few select areas, on the drivers side fender the paint is starting to check a little. I checked the engine casting number that's on the engine and it comes back as a Goodwrench 350 replacement engine 4.00" Bore, 3.47" Stroke, 8.5:1 Compression ratio, 250hp @ 4,300 rpm and 350 ft. lbs of torque @ 3,600 rpm.. The transmission, rear end, intake and carburetor are all numbers matching and original just the block was replaced. still has all smog equipment and functional air condition that works but will need to be vacuumed and recharged. The is not a spec of rust anywhere on this car, the bird cage and complete undercarriage is 100 percent rust free, Car has a complete new exhaust from the headers back including all new piping, catalytic converters and mufflers. Tires look like there are in mint condition with zero dry rot but you can feel flat spots due to it sitting for 15 years. The car can be trusted to drive anywhere without any problems, i have been driving the car for the past couple of days and have not had one problem with her, there are no mysterious noises or problems with this car, one drive in her and it will blow your mind.
