Vehicle Detail
This is a nostalgia race truck , a clone of a race truck built by Valley Customs for Tommy Jamieson in the 50's. The truck is fully sectioned 4", bed is shorthened 6" in front and 6" behind the rear wheels. The truck is powered by a 37 flathead with a Dixon Overhead Valve conversion. 2 - 97 Strombergs on an Offenhauser intake. This is a beautiful truck, the body work is exceptional, done by Ken Roble owner of Ross Racing Pistons. The truck has a 9" ford rear end with drum brakes on leaf springs, front is 4" drop axle with disc brakes. Power brake booster under cab. Truck has both electrical and mechanical fuel pump. transmission is C-4 Ford that shifts crisp. Wheels are powder coat Wheel Vintique Steelies with beauty rings and Ford caps. I have the wire wheels if you prefer. Stewart Warner guages fill the dash. Interior is bare, this was built as a clone to Valley Customs Race truck. Black vinyl cover the seat. Just a beautiful truck that runs and drives great. Less than 300 miles have been put on the truck since built.
