1968 Buick Riviera. This is an original, number matching, Riviera that runs and drives very well. It is a smooth driving Riviera that can be driven anywhere. The original (not a reprinted copy) owner's manual and "1968 Buick Owner Protection Plan and New Vehicle Warranty" with the first owner's Protect-o-plate are in the glovebox. Everything works - power steering, power brakes, air-conditioner, and power front seat all work as they should. The cars starts easily and is a pleasure to drive. From the headlights to the dome light, all of the lighting works well. This is an almost rust free Buick Riviera with only minor surface rust. The original interior is in very good condition. It has a car cover and the original jack and cardboard trunk inserts are in the trunk. Please look closely at all of the photos. I have a clear title in my name and the reserve on the car is very low. I will be very critical of the car in outlining the negative issues: 1. The tires are useable, but worn. One of the original tires is in the spare-tire well. 2. The car has been repainted and it is not the best paint work. The car looks good up close, but there is some overspray. 3. The rear bumper has some scratches and has substantial oxidation. 4. The vacuum operated headlight doors do not work and the vacuum lines have been disconnected. The headlights work well and the dimmer switch works as it should. 5. There is a small tear in the top section of the passenger's side front seat. The tear is less than the size of dime, but it is a tear in what is a really nice interior. The headliner, door panels, rear seat, and carpets are in very good condition. These problems are minor, but I want the new owner to be very pleased with the car. A $500. PayPal deposit is required within 48 hours after the auction closes.
