2000 Chrysler Town & Country LX Mini Van. Original owner. Reason for sale: Purchased new car. Vehicle runs excellent and is very reliable. It has received excellent maintenence. New items within the last 5000 miles: 4 new tires, new battery, new brakes, speed sensor, trans fluid and filter. Within 1000 miles: oil & filter, headlight bulbs. Only three issues: The plastic strap that holds the glove box door from opening all the way is snapped, The power outlet on the dash has pushed through the opening. It still works, but sometimes you have to push it back through the opening. It will eventually need a muffler. The rest of the exhaust is in great shape, but the muffler is starting to separate at the crimp seam. About $60 for a muffler. The title is clear, and there is no lien or loan on the car. The front hood, grill, and fender were replaced in 2006 due to a deer strike. You cannot tell its ever been damaged, and the paint matches perfectly. The car is equipped with a remote starter, which is real nice in the winter. All accessories work as they should. Car has rear seat A/C/Heat with rear controls. Highway gas mileage at legal speed is 26mpg, City mileage varies 18-22mpg. Both are higher than EPA rated mileage, so the drivetrain is solid. The engine oil level never drops between oil changes, and there are no fluid leaks. Car is rated at 7-passenger, with quad buckets and 3rd row bench seat. Seats are easily removable. Car can haul full sheets of plywood flat on the floor with seats removed. The interior is in very good shape. No rips or tears anywhere, and no cracks in the dash cover or anywhere else. The vehicle was garage kept since new, so the finish is not faded and still shines when washed. There are a few door dings, and minor scratches, but hardly noticable. I can see no rust on the car, the spare and jack are in place, in fact have never been out. The suspension has been checked, and the struts and shocks are very good, and the CV joints are tight, with good boots. The car drives straight, steering wheel is centered, no wheel vibration even at way past highway speeds. The car is quiet with no rattles. While the car has high mileage, it is mostly long-distance mileage on the highway. It has many years and miles left to go. Ask any questions you have.
