This is a 1989 VW Jetta 4-door diesel. This diesel gets great mileage and has a 5 speed transmission. The body is clean for its age. Showing normal wear. Interior is also in good shape for the age of the car.This car has air, power steering etc. newer battery. This car has approximately 133,000 miles which is low for a diesel and runs and sounds great. Recent valve,head gasket due to oil seal leak. Tires on front are new rear are good. The car runs well and the clutch and brakes seem fine. The car does have a clunk when you hit a bump or rough spot on the highway. I am told that it is the control arm bushing and I have a new control arm bushing and it should not cost much to get it installed. think it would be ok to drive home but it should be fixed. Great fuel economy. I am selling this for a friend so if you have questions please ask early and I will get an answer. . This car seems to be a good car for its age and miles but it is not like new. It has normal wear and tear for its age. The car is sold as is where is. Please ask any questions before bidding.
