I have a 1982 AMC Eagle Wagon for sale.It has been sitting for 2 years at our house.I drove this car 80 miles a day round to and from work for 4 years in all weather.We are having to move and cannot take the car with us.It does need repair.It hasn't been started in awhile,but will turn over last time I tried.It needs a battery and the accelorater linkage fixed.It does need a new carb.,but a new one can be purchased from Summit Racing.Hi-performance parts are also still available for this engine through Summit.It will start and run,just needs to warm up.It has less than 200,000 mi. on a 258 6cyl. 4-wheel drive does still work.It has some surface rust below the side windows,but no body rot that I can find.Typical for these years of AMC the door handles have a tendancy to break.I have a pair of door handles that go with the car.It has also been mildly hit in the rear drivers side corner.Small crease by rear tail light and broken tail light.I do have a replacement tail light that will go with the car. This is a perfect starter/fix-it car and is made of Detroit iron.Also has the original 4x4 wheels.It is missing the bumper caps,but that is how I purchased it.
