I am the City Auditor of Heath, Ohio, located about 30 miles east of Columbus. I am required to sell to the highest bidder this 1996 Ford Crown Vic. Police Package former Fire Chief''s car. We bought this new in July of 1996. This vehicle has the 4.6 litre engine. The guys tell me that the engine had to be replaced somewhere along the line. We're trying to find the records of exactly when that ocurred, but understand that this vehicle has only about 74,125 miles on the odometer since new. Her carpets could use replacing. That would make her look GREAT! Her engine makes no unusual noises I can detect, and seems to run fine. She has spent most of her life indoors. Like you'd expect a fire department vehicle, she is shiny, and red! Her hood beads up water from the wax. This vehicle includes all that is shown, including the graphics, Whelen light bar, siren, and radios, and this equipment will remain and be donated to any winning bidder that is verifiably a government safety agency. If a civilian should win this auction, this equipment must be removed before delivery. You bid with that understanding! We will need an additional week to remove that equipment for a civilian after end of auction.
