It was assembled in MB's Bremen plant in Germany and imported into the USA in May of 2005. It was sold Brand New on a 24 month lease by Mercedes Benz of Miami in Miami Florida on July 19th of 2005 with just 58 miles on the odometer to the one and only original owner. After enjoying this SL500 for just about a year, this original owner decided he loved the vehicle so much that he purchased the vehicle outright from Mercedes Benz Financial Services. This took place on June 13th of 2007 and with just 4,598 miles on the odometer. The SL500 was serviced at Mercedes Benz of Miami as normal. After enoying this SL500 for about five years, this original owner got an itch for something different... and when I say different... I mean it... He decided to purchase a Tesla Roadster. Tesla does not take trades, so I was approached to purchase this SL500 by the original owner on September 26th of 2010 with just 10,681 miles on the odometer. I had it brought to our service center, had a complete inspection performed, and was amazed by what a beautiful machine this SL was. I agreed to purchase this SL500, drove with the original owner to the Tesla dealership, and paid them for the car. It now has just 10,694 miles on it and I am pleased to offer it to you here on eBay. THE CONDITION The overall exterior condition of the vehicle is very good. No major exterior damage exists on the car itself except for maybe a few extremely minor rock microchips on the front end. The interior is beautiful. I have two master keys, the CD cartridge, the Nav disc, the owners manuals, the original window sticker, the removable windscreen, and the original carpet floormats. The tires on this Mercedes are the proper Michelin Pilot Sport's with about 40% tread life left. This SL500 needs nothing except you as the new driver. This is a chance to have a Practically Brand New Mercedes SL500 for a hugely reduced price. I have run the Carfax on this Mercedes and it came back PERFECTLY Clean with no accident history. It also notes the Carfax Buyback Guarantee. I ran the AutoCheck on this SL500 and it came back PERFECT as well. It notated the AutoCheck Assured Buyback Protection.
