1974 Honda CB

1974 Honda CB500T Up for auction is a '74, 5 Speed, Honda CB500T. Runs well, starts up on first kick. Will run 70mph all day long!! Speedo reads 0-130mph and miles at 26840.1 Problems with the bike that we ARE aware of are.... windshield is missing. Right side cover is missing, the starter button switch is missing, but "the wires are there". Carbs need synching. You can hear the other cylinder kick in and out during running, and at sometimes during idle. Muffler crossover is rusted out at the bottom of the crossover. Pipes were plugged where they were rusted out, so well, it has no leaks. The pipes actually sound good despite all that. Just passing the info on. We got this bike about 3 weeks ago. Here is a list of things WE did to it. We put a new battery on it, as well as a new flasher unit. Cleaned the fuel tank, put 2 new NGK spark plugs on it, and installed a new fuel filter. We checked all the lights and controls, everything works except the starter button, mentioned earlier. Tires are in good shape. Body has no major dents scratches or rust. Rims are straight. Chain and sprockets are in good shape, too. The fairing looks a bit rough but can easily be repainted. The seat has no rips in it. The bike comes with the original Owners Manual as well as the original tools and clean paperwork. Motor shifts through all gears, clutches are good and brakes are great!! Have the carbs synched and/or adjusted and you will have a decent little ride! This would make a very dependable piece of transportation!! More pictures below.
