Vehicle Detail

Honda 1970 CT70H K0 Mini Trail MFD 7/70 – Frame S/N CT70H-124022 – Engine S/N CT70HE-124194 Up for auction is a premium condition CT70H KO 4-speed! This bike has been painstakingly refurbished and has so many new parts you will think you are looking at a new bike. All parts are either original or OEM Honda. The following description will give you an idea as to all that was done to complete this bike. Please forgive me for using the word “New” so many times but like I said almost everything on this bike is new. I think anyone would agree that this bike looks fantastic but unless you have restored one yourself you can’t really appreciate the amount of labor and money it takes to restore one of these bikes to this level. So bid with confidence knowing that every effort has been made to create this level of bike! Please read and understand both the shipping and payment details before bidding. Engine and Transmission Rebuilt motor and transmission. New piston and rings, new piston pin, new cylinder and head, new rocker arms, new intake and exhaust valves, new heavy duty OEM Honda valve springs, new Honda hot cam, new timing chain, gears, and chain rollers, new spark plug, points, and condenser, rebuilt carburetor, polished intake manifold, new air filter, chrome tappet covers, new clutch discs and springs, new kick start lever, new shift lever rubber, new Honda gasket set and oil seals, complete new Honda exhaust system, all new fuel lines, and new OEM dip stick. The bike starts on the first kick and has just 1.5 miles on it since the rebuild. Wheels , Tires, and Drive New original NOS style Bridgestone tires, new tubes, new wheel bearings and seals, new brake shoes, new drive chain and sprockets, new rubber sprocket dampeners and dust shield, new brake switch return springs. Front Fork Assembly New fork reflectors, new fork seals, new fork boots, new upper and lower fork bushings, polished fork bushing retainers, polished triple clamp and new chrome steering stem nut and washer, new chrome fork bolts and washers. Steering Assembly New handlebar grips, new handlebar knobs and nuts, new rubber tipped brake levers, new throttle parts, new gray throttle and brake cables, new OEM horn and button, and new headlight dimmer switch. Bike Body and Frame The frame was pressure washed and glass beaded prior to painting and the paint is gorgeous. There must be a way to back light the bike or something to allow the pictures to look as good as the bike but I don’t know the secret. Trust me when I say the paint is much, much nicer than the pictures. The paint is 3-stage Emerald Green applied as base coat, candy and then clear coat. New decals and new OEM stainless upper frame molding was installed after painting. The bike also has new OEM Honda front and rear chrome fenders, new front cable stay, new chrome spark plug guard, new seat form, new seat cover with heavy duty vinyl for superior wear, and original seat pan that was reconditioned and painted, new front rubber seat mounts and it comes with tools and tool bag, new tool bag retainer, new ignition coil, new plug cap, new wiring harness, new battery, new rubber battery cover, new battery strap, new fuel cap, new OEM chrome grab handle, all new #8 Honda bolts and washers, and CT70H Owners Manual. Other seller tell you the bike is fully restored but then give you only a dozen or so pictures of which none are closer than five feet. I’m giving you 85 high resolution photos for you to really examine this super nice bike. Many of the photos are as close as I can possibly get without the camera going out of focus. Examine the pictures closely. You won’t be disappointed! Give me a call or email me if you have any questions. My number is 503-720-3951 and my name is Scott. Shipping & Handling Shipping to the lower 48 only. If you are outside of the lower 48 and really want the bike please email me before bidding! Buyer responsible for all shipping arrangements and shipping costs! If you require shipping I recommend Seattledriver (425) 882-2927. I use them for most of my shipments. They pickup the bike and prepare it for transport in their covered van and their price is quite reasonable. If they aren’t available then I recommend uship.com. I won’t crate the bike but if you want to ship by air please include an additional $50 to cover the cost of tie-downs and a good lock. Payment Details $500 due within 48 hours through PayPal. The rest I want paid within 7 days by Cashier’s Check, Bank Wire or Cash. If you want to pay the full amount owed through PayPal then I will require you to pay an additional 3% to cover the PayPal charges. All funds must clear prior to shipment. Additional Comments I don’t have a title, so the bike is being sold with a “Bill of Sale” only. Please ask questions before you bid. I will answer all questions to the best of my ability. This Bike is also listed locally. Do you like this bike but wish it was red or perhaps a 4-speed K1 or maybe a Z50 is the bike for you? I currently have numerous bikes in my inventory and can customize a bike for you if interested. Just give me a call and we can talk.
