Needed bike with bags for manuals and uniforms to commute between work in Center City Philadelphia and class in Marlton, NJ. During class break in August I had just disassembled bike for prep and paint when I was offered a job three hours north of Philadelphia. Relocated immediately. No longer have shop space, so I'm unable to work on bike. Bike is being sold As-Is. Receipts show regular service at Morton's BMW Fredricksburg, VA including: $684: 64k miles - April 2009 Tune and valve adjustment $489: 69k - August 2009 Clutch adjustment and new high end Odyssey 12V30 battery replaced Nov - 2008 $209 - Jan 2009 Brake rotor PA INSPECTION PA inspection good til May 2011. new rear tire May, 2010. Has approx 1500 miles on it. Also includes complete Clymer M500-3 BMW K-Series Shop Repair Service Garage Manual 85-97. BIKE IS BEING SOLD AS IS. KNOWN ISSUES BODY Body panels and tank need glass, prep, and paint (See pics) WINDSCREEN Fogging due to age and sun exposure. Needs to be buffed back to clear shine. SEAT Corbin dual tour comfort seat needs to be recovered. I made a temporary seat cover (see pics) in May (bike was parked outside in rain when at work) Seat pan and dual density foam still in great condition. Used original Corbin panels to create pattern for new cover. Kept original panels for next owner if needed. REAR BRAKE ROTOR/PADS/CALIPER Didn't hear brake noise over XM radio in helmet. Inattention allowed the rear brake rotor to become scored (see pics), with possible damage to caliper. (Brake still functional) RUNNING LIGHT LENSE CRACKED Kneeled on box of parts and cracked lense and one mirror..:-( MIRROR CRACKED See above PRE-SALE INSPECTION Will deduct half of inspections costs, up to $100 of a $200 inspection, if you purchase the bike. (No refunds if you get outbid during inspection!!!) However, bike is being sold AS-IS. PAYMENT The bike is for pick up only.
