Hi and Thanks for looking at this 1988 BMW 235ix. If you are familiar with these cars then you know this is the 1st year ALL WHEEL DRIVE 325 and the hard to find 5 speed with all the options including the SPORT PKG (The sport seats). Sunroof, AM/FM Cassette, A/C, Electric Windows, Power door locks, Sport Package and the rare, Red Leather interior with heated seat (that work!). Ready to drive or restore? I planned on restoring this car for fun but due to lack of funds and too many toys, I am forced to let her go :o(. I have owned this car since 2007 and it has never failed me! 188K miles and it runs like a top! This is my winter car and I have driven this very little in the last couple of years. As you can see from my list below, I have invested a considerable amount of funds and time into this car. My loss your gain. This car is sold as is condition with no warrantee implied or written. All wheel drive all the time is sure footed driving in the snow (Fun, Fun, Fun) 4 new (in 2009 - 2000 miles on them at most), 4 Continental tires mounted on Factory original BMW Rims (Custom Powder coated factory alloy wheels) You will also receive **4 BBS (TSW) Alloy Wheels for summer wheels – comes with the car! Windows, sunroof, blower fan, on-board computer all work correctly Two used doors that go with the car for the winning bidder - great shape (cost me $500) The Factory original sport molding unique to the iX comes with the car as does the two old fenders (this is the wheel well molding and the rocker panel molding) and the spoiler for the trunk as well as the front fasia lip skirt. I have invested well over $3K dollars in this car in the last 3 years in parts and service and this car is a great candidate for a restore or simply a reliable winter. The not so Good: (overall, this is in great shape for year and miles...but the rust) Rust on both rocker panels, passenger rear wheelwell and drivers side rear qtr. as well as by Lic Plate Bracket in back and bottom of doors (surface) AC needs to be charged Passenger door was hit by a deer, minor dents, (New door to replace is included) Interior Leather shows wear, seats work as expected (sport seats have tilt, height adj, and lumbar with leg bolster & Heated....works!)
