Suzuki 1983 GS1100E.Super clean desert barn-find has been sitting a total of 23 years! Clear blue Nevada title in hand, has "rebuilt" designation due to a parking lot mishap in the late 1980's according to previous owner. No bondo or frame work. Gas tank spotless. The following work has been recently performed (July 2010): Carburetors thoroughly cleaned and synchronized, oil and filter, clutch fibers and cover gasket, battery, pod filters, wheel bearings, brake fluid flush with silicone fluid, fuel supply hose and a brand new (Sep 2010) set of Kenda Challenger tires; sizes: 100/90-19 front and 120/90-17 rear. (Stock sizes.) Balanced with new tubes. Clutch cable and throttle cable lubed. Factory equipped with nice air-charged front anti-dive system, functions perfectly. Dash gauges include oil temp. and (very convenient) gas gauge. All working. O-ring chain and sprockets look like new. New paint and dual-stage clearcoat over correct decals. This bike leaks a little oil, not bad. The electrical system has been thoroughly checked and all of the connectors cleaned and/or replaced and is completely trouble-free. Always charges nice, all of the dash lights and gauges are fully functional. Overall the bike is extremely reliable as I have been taking it on weekend trips all summer, often in extreme heat, with zero trouble. It starts instantly and runs VERY well. I once took it to over 100mph and it had plenty of throttle left. Rides beautifully and corners effortlessly. I would be confident taking it anywhere. Gets over 42MPG.
