HIghly Factory Optioned 1983 Porsche 911 SC. Truly one of the nicest with all the right stuff. This example of the last of the Spartan 911 sc 3.0 Liter, is a truly right stuff car out of the Factory. I am the second owner of this significant Automobile and hate to part with her. This car was originally picked up on the Factory delivery program, by an east coast Porsche club officer. He made certain requests of Porsche Factory at Stuttgart for the delivery of the car which were granted. Every piece of documentation since new, all maintenance reciepts, are included with this special car, as well as the service book with the first 2000 mile service at the Porsche factory. This 911 is a 93,000 mile Chassis, With Only 9500 MILES on a engine /gearbox rebuild. This Engine and Tranny are as new and the performance is as new. These are the Factory Options for delivery: X5X5 Quartz Metallic 220 Limited Slip Differential 409 Leather Sport Seats 474 Bilstein Sport Shocks SUSPENSION: The car currently is running equipped with Carrera Sway Bars, Lowered to Euro Spec, Only proper Bilstein shocks are ever on this car. It handles flawlessly and as tight as new, no rattles, vibrations or pushes or pulls on acceleration. Factory designed Camber truss, Factory Fuchs 7&8's. ENGINE: The Engine was Rebuilt due to piston ring failure in 3 cylinders, It was Carefully put together with Mahle 8.5 compression ratio pistons and cylinders, thus it is still factory spec 911sc. The rebuild was done by Lyndon Howe in Florida, and we have a full pictoral history of the Engine/ Gearbox build as well as the receipts. Recent warm up regulator, and stainless brakelines have been added. The car was equipped at the factory with Limited slip differential, and 930 turbo Behr Oil cooler, It Runs very cool, even in the desert. The Exhaust system currently on the 911 is a factory Euro Sport, with matching correct cut out valence. The original Muffler, and valence, (which are perfect), also come with the car, as well as rear bumpers that are perfect. The Header system is SSI stainless. My personal feeling is the SC will be the next value car to skyrocket, much like the early S cars, which I wish I still had, especially the documented factory equipped examples. The paint is flawless, and has had a front respary to rid the car of rock chips, and slight lower valence crunch. Overall the car looks as showroom condition, with gently worn light patina to the Factory Sport Seats. I really wish the prospective buyer could view the car, it is a no dissapointment example.
