I am the Second owner of this beautiful XR-400. I purchased the bike from a guy in Atlanta, Ga. on March 29, 2008 for $4,800.00 and still have the bill of sale in my records. He bought Two of these bikes brand new in 03 and he raced One and made this One a show bike. Since I purchased the bike I have spent over $500.00 putting my own touches on it. This bike truely is a One of a kind and has Never had a drop of water on it, Never been riden in any sand and has only been putted up and down paved roads for a total of 29 miles. I bought this bike with every intention of riding the wheels off of it but for me it was just too pretty to even get dirty, so I have enjoyed just looking at it in my garage for over Two years and starting it up on the weekends and letting it run to keep the carb from gumming up. Once in a while I would load the bike up and just drive around with it in the back of my truck just to hear all the comments people would make about it.
