OK Trans Am fans, this is the one you have been waiting for. If you are looking for a last generation pristine Bird to add to your collection, this is the one you want for the long term. Why am I selling this, well let’s just say there is a wife involved. OK my loss is your gain. Here is everything you need to know about this fine car. 1998 Trans Am LS1 6 speed manual All options including T Tops and leather 134,000 miles No paint or bodywork done EVER! All paint is original and in fantastic shape. OK now the history, this car was originally owned by a PGA Pro golfer, he drove it back and forth between residences in NY and Florida. That’s where a lot of the miles came from. It’s obvious this car was his baby. I have most of the maintenance and modification records. This guy spent a fortune taking care of this car. Nothing was neglected. He even took it to the dealer to have light bulbs replaced. I have the records to prove it. This car was maintained the right way. It is very difficult to find that on one of these cars. Most owners of these cars drive them hard and put them away wet. Not this one. OK, now for the performance mods done on this car. I must state upfront that all of these upgrades were done by professional mechanics at professional shops. No backyard mechanic or kid that wanted to go fast has ever touched this car. Performance gas charged shocks New rear coil springs Yes, this car is fast and sounds amazing. But it is much more than that. It goes. It stops. It handles. It is an amazing experience to drive this car and I have scared more than a few people (including myself) with how fast this car takes off. Now for the condition report: In short, nearly perfect on all accounts. Just a couple of imperfections from normal wear. The drivers seat has a small area of wear from getting in and out. The rear dif has a very small leak from the yoke area. It leaves a drop in the garage when I park it for a few weeks. Nothing major by any stretch. This car needs nothing.
