I am an Allante enthusiast and member of the Allante Club of America. I currently own not one, not two, but THREE Allantes and must downsize to one. 1992 Allantes are arguably the rarest of the rare; as they had a shortened production year due to Cadillac starting production of the Northstar powered 1993 Allantes early so they could be the Indy 500 Pace Cars. Only 1,931 1992 Allantes were made, and only 251 were made in the solid white color; versus the very common pearl white. This Allante is white/neutral with red stripe. This Allante was originally a Texas car, thus is a rust free specimen. This car has been my summer driver and has received extensive servicing, including the following: *new serpentine belt *new water pump (and coolant flush) *new thermostat *new front brakes *new ABS relay *new horn relay *new soft top, headliner, and escutcheons ($2750!) *new fuel filter *new air filter *new driver's door handle *new top pulldown motors (fronts and rear) The A/C will need to be recharged. As the car was driven only with the top down, I never bothered to have it done. The trunk has been converted to a manual latching versus the problematic electronic soft close mechanism. All the digital dash gauges/modules function as they should with no dim segments. As the car was originally from Texas, the dash suffered sun damage (warpage, peeling, etc.); the auction includes an immaculately refinished dash in the correct tan color that future owners can swap out. The car does have some nicks and scratches on the lower part of the rear bumper and two touched up spots (very minor) on the driver's door.
