- 1997 Toyota 4Runner Limited - This Toyota was purchased new by me for $38,000 in 1997 and has served me well since that day. All of the 232,000 miles that are on it were accumulated by myself and my father. It has NEVER been involved in any sort of accident, and has never had any sort of body work at all. There isn't hardly even a scratch or door ding on the vehicle. It has been dealer serviced since day one and is current and up to date on all required service including it's timing belt service which took place at the dealership at 208,000 miles. I have absolutely loved this truck and you will too. The interior of the truck is just as nice as it's exterior. No stains, smells or damage at all. It really is nearly new looking. Somewhere in the stack of receipts is one for the Kumho tires - they have at least 75% tread remaining. The sound system has been upgraded with JL Audio speakers in the doors and an Alpine amplifier and a JL Audio subwoofer in back. This isn't some kid installation with a hatchet and twist-ties, this is professional work. It sounds great. Even the power antenna works! The seat - while worn is still in good shape even given the mileage. You will notice the two touch-up paints and the XM receiver are included too. Even the window sticker. At this time the muffler is just starting to wear out. The truck isn't loud, but it will be the next thing that needs attention. If you are looking for a a 4Runner that will not disappoint you have found it. Even the most discriminating car shopper will love this SUV - I know I do. On Sep-21-10 at 15:47:20 PDT, seller added the following information: -----An Update! A few things I forgot to mention: 1.) The truck has a moonroof. 2.) The truck has never been smoked in and harbors no unusual smells. 3.) Several years ago I had replacement Toyota coil springs installed that lifted the truck about two inches - giving it a much more appealing stance then the weak original springs. They are offered through Toyota Aftermarket parts. Makes the truck look great! 4.) The list of things that have been serviced of the years is as long as my arm. I would bet there are one hundred receipts in the photo of receipts - and most of it was done at dealerships. Of course I realize that this truck has over 200k - but seriously: I'd put your kids, my kids - I'd even put Jerry's kids in this truck and drive them anywhere with complete confidence.
