Vehicle Detail
Hello Everyone, Here is a genuine classic Dodge Pick up that has been well cared for it's entire life. a 1978 Power Wagon with only 88,000 miles on the clock. To my surprise it has not been sold yet. I am forced to drop the price even further to make it a better deal and to let buyers know that I want to sell this beauty. I can no longer afford to keep her. It has never once let me down. Strong as an Ox! everything in the drivetrain was gone through when I rebuilt the original motor in 2005. Motor was built to produce approx 400HP out of 413 cubic inches. It has Aluminum heads on it and it has been bored over .030" and the crank was offset ground to give it slightly longer stroke, thereby effectively increasing cubes to 412.7 but I rounded it off and call her a low-deck 413. I have original "452" cast heads, intake and center dump factory manifolds, and those will go with truck for an extra $100 if buyer wants them. The aluminum heads were over a thousand dollars alone, not counting the extensive machine work I had done to them to accomodate the Keith Black Hypereutectic pistons. Motor and everything was gone through in 2005 when truck had 79,000 miles on her. 9,000 miles since refresh/rebuild. transmission was inspected and fluid filter changed. The transmission was one of the cleanest 30 year olds I had ever seen. No metal shavings were found inside pan, and it shifts with authority, and responsiveness. No funny stuff here folks! The genuine article if you are looking for a cruiser or a fixer-upper. It does need some resoration work. It has some rust spots in rear quarters, bottom of doors, rear edge of bed floor, and bottom of right front fender, but they are not too bad considering it's age. it still has alot of life left in it and will serve it's new owner well if they take care of it. This truck has absolutely NEVER been wrecked or even slightly smacked by another car, ever! To help out non-loacl buyers, I will split transport fee to help out simply because I am a nice guy. BIN for those of you who want it quickly and I threw in teh make offer button as well, so don't be afraid to make me an offer. Any questions you can call me on my cell @ 515-681-4423, I'm Charlie. Thanks for looking and have a great day.
