Up for auction is a 1987 XJS-C Jaguar. It has t-tops, hard top, and a cloth top. Car was bought new in Torrance, CA; and spent most of its time there until it came to the southeast. It is rust free; all panels are solid. It has a SBC conversion with a John's Car Adapter package, which includes all conversion components, all gauges work (see pictures of instrument panel). Drive shaft has been trued and balanced, no vibration at any speed. The Chevy Engine is a 350, 4 Bolt Main, 20 over bore by Jasper Engines Builders with a few modifications: New Pro Comp Aluminum Heads with large valves & 190cc runners, full roller rockers with guide plates. New Comp Cams Extreme Energy XE258 camshaft, lifters, and valvespring package, with Viton Positive Valve Seals and copper exhaust gaskets. New Comp Cams timing chain set New Patriot tubular headers New aluminum water pump New aluminum Cross Flow Radiator with electric fans with adjustable thermostat New K&N air filter New High Torque starter New Edlebrock Thunder AVS 650cfm New Edlebrock Performer Manifold New Edlebrock fuel pump New HEI distributor, plugs, and wires New Harmonic Balancer with degree numbers New polished aluminum valve covers New shocks (4 rear- 2 front) New ball joints and sway bar bushings New dual exhaust system Transmission has been completely rebuilt with new torque converter; tranny is the Jaguar version of the GM 400. Power windows work. It has a Kenwood head unit with remote. The a/c compressor was NOT reinstalled with the new heads. My intentions was to install a lighter and more modern style compressor and converting to 134A. However, there is NO a/c as of now. The engine, tranny, and all new parts mentioned have a little less than 2k miles on them. Carpet and head liner are both good. Both seats could use a redo or custom covers. Tires are like new. I have a car cover for it also. The only negative thing i know of this car is if it sits for more than 3 or 4 days without being ran, the battery will need to be either recharged or jumped off. I have a cutoff switch on the battery, located in the trunk, if it sits for a period of time. You can drive this car home or i can store it as long as needed until your shipper picks it up at NO CHARGE. I have a clean and clear SC title in hand! Please ask if you have any questions!
