Vehicle Detail

This is a beautiful Triumph Sprint ST 1050 in Caspian Blue. The bike is flawless and very fun to ride. The extras on this bike include: Bubble windshield (originals for 2005 were flat) Custom, hand painted "TRIUMPH" on the bottom of both sides of the fairing Throttle Meister cruise control with heavy bar ends AutoCom Pro-7-Sport communications system (here is their web site http://www.autocom.co.uk/Pre2009.aspx) The original shield and bar ends go with the bike. I also have a fitted cover for this bike that I'll throw in. I love this bike and would keep it but...I had three surgeries on my shoulder before riding season started. I have not been able to ride all year and the bike is just sitting in my garage. I rode it around the drive once and washed and waxed it but that's it. I am afraid if I take it on the road my shoulder would give at the wrong time and I'd drop it so I am not riding it. I hate to see it sit, it needs to have an owner that will (can) ride it. I have the bike for sale locally so I do reserve the right to end this auction at any time. The bike presently has 11,279 miles but may gain a few if an interested party takes it for a test ride. The main reason I bought this bike, and I have owned it since new, is the really cool single sided swing arm and under the seat exhaust system. When Triumph came out with this bike I bought it new over the phone sight unseen. The Throttle Meister cruise control is a grip friction type unit that can be turned off simply by moving the throttle. Very nice on an open rode. I had the bike custom painted because when looking at it from the side you can not see Triumph anywhere on these bikes. I wanted to let the world know this bike was a Triumph. There is nothing like riding around on a Triumph sport bike, not many people have them and it always draws attention. The 1050 cc motor makes this one of the most powerful (123 hp)bikes I have ever riden, and I have been riding for over 35 years! The AutoCom system is really cool and I'll put one on my next bike. This sytem alone cost ~$1,000. I have the wiring for two (2) helmets and the wiring will go with this auction (helmets not included, just the wiring). The wiring for the helmets includes for each helmet, two (2) small ear speakers, a small microphone, and a helmet plug with and extension cord. This wiring is for a full face helmet. If you are not familiar with this system here are a few specifics: It is voice activated. When one rider speaks the other rider hears the speaker. If you have your I-POD connected (which I always do) then you can listen to the music, when someone speaks the music is dimmed and you can talk. The great feature about this system is that you can plug your phone into it. When someone calls you it auto dims the music and auto answers your phone. You never have to take your hands off the bars! When the conversation has been completed the system hangs up the phone and turns the tunes back on. All service has been done by Triumph dealers. The break-in series was strictly followed when the bike was new. The tires are about 50%. I did have one of the bottom fairing attachments fixed when I had the bike custom painted. One of the Triumph dealers had tightened the fairing too tight and spider cracked the fiber glass tab on the very bottom. I didn't even know it until I took the fairing off to have it painted. You can only see it now if you take the fairing off and look at it from the back side. The only other item is a small oil drip on the safety switch between the shifter and the kickstand. This bike has the auto shut down feature if you put it in gear with the kick stand down it will shut off the motor. This oil drip amounts to a few drops a day and is easily fixed. It just started dripping probably since the bike hasn't been ridden. It is just a small cover that needs the gasket replaced. This bike is local pickup only but if the buyer needs help or assistance getting it to a truck dock I will take it if it is within a reasonable distance from my house, say 50 miles or so (I'll work with you on this one). It is the buyer's responsibility to have it crated, or whatever needs to be done, to transport the bike. The Kelly Blue Book on this bike is $5,645. This is without the AutoCom system (~$1,000) and the custom paint job (~$500). If you have any questions shoot me an e-mail. I also have more pictures and can take additional ones if you'd like. HAPPY BIDDING and GOOD LUCK!!!
