Vehicle Detail

Up for bidding here is my 1979 Z28. This Camaro is a running and driving car that I am listing as a project only because it is ready for restoration and had been sitting for several years before I purchased it a few months ago. The body is solid overall with only a few areas needing repair. The rear lower valance panel is rusted and needs to be replaced. The floor needs a patch panel on the drivers front. The outer body only needs a few patches. The wheel lips and wheelhouses are very solid. The rear quarters and trunk drop-off's are solid. The fenders are in very good condition with only some small rust areas directly behind the wheel opening. The doors are also very solid with just some dents and surface rust. The areas around the front and rear windows looks solid as well. The roof has faded paint and surface scale. The trunk is solid as well. The rear frame rails have some surface scale but I did not see any rot. The pictures show that this car is pretty solid overall. The interior will need a full restoration as it's showing it's age. The door arm rests are missing. The speedo does not work because someone took the factory cruise control unit. It is also missing most of the A/C components other than the evaporator case. I suspect someone took the parts out to save weight for racing or they needed the parts for their car (who knows for sure?). I have the original build sheet with this Z28 and it shows it as a fully loaded car. The car will run and drive but I do recommend trailering it since it's been sitting for some time. The brakes work well and the transmission shifts through all gears. The motor is a "CE" coded 350 4 bolt and not original to the car. I have been restoring vehicles for 25 years now and can perform all the rust repairs, a partial, or a full restoration on this Camaro for you if you like. Please call if this is an option you would like more information on. You can view some of my past projects at my website m-w-c-c.com. My shop phone is 419-523-6900 and you can call from 8am-4pm. The last 2 pictures show the quality of work you can expect if you have me restore this Camaro for you. Please ask all questions before bidding. This is an AS-IS, Where-IS sale with no guarantees written, expressed, or implied. A $500.00 deposit is due through Paypal immediately after the auction. The balance is due in 7 days. If paying by any means other than cash, all funds must clear before the car will be released. I have a clear Ohio title in my name and the car is ready to go.
