Vehicle Detail

First Time Ever Offered on EBAY!!! 1943 Ford Four Wheel Drive Army Jeep. Restored years ago! Been sitting in a Barn for over 15 Years! I'm selling this World War II Army Jeep for a friend of mine who doesn't have a computer. It was his fathers and he passed away. His Dad was heavy into this Military stuff. He was a member of the Military Preservation Society and Had a Half track and other Military Items. I remember his dad driving this around years ago... so I know it used to run and drive. He says his dad stopped driving it because the Transmission would get stuck in between two gears. They thought it was a bad or bent shifting fork. He was going to put a different Transmission in it and never did. He says there is another Transmission for it somewhere but can't find it. He will include the transmission with the Jeep if and when he finds it. (no promises). The engine looks complete... but it is missing the Cap, Rotor, Points, and Wires. The engine seems like it is locked up, can't turn it over by hand, but it might be the Transmission locked up. We haven't messed with it. Transmission is a 3 Speed. Top and seats are in nice shape. It has the lube Gun mounted under the hood, and the tire pump mounted under the back seat. It has the rifle holder mounted to the dash. Tires are 6.00-16 LT McCreary NDT Military. They are like new! Including the spare! I was told that the rims are the correct two piece style too. Look at the pictures and decide if everything is correct or not. We don't know that much about these old Jeeps. He was under the impression that this Jeep was worth around $10000. We set a Low Reserve. This will need some tinkering before it can be driven. Title is clear and in my friends name. Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!! A $250.00 Non- Refundable Deposit is due within 24 Hours of Auctions End. REMEMBER YOU WIN IT YOU OWN IT! You are welcome to check it out. Just Email me to set up a time. I will respond as soon as I can on questions. I do work a full time job too. This isn't a win it, come look at it, and decide if you want to buy it or not auction. Ask all questions. If you don't have at least 10 Feed Backs... Contact me first before bidding! No this won't make a cross country road trip. It doesn't run! You are responsible for shipping and transporting vehicle. I will work with the transporter people, but am not going to deliver it. Vehicle is sold AS IS! No warranty whether expressed or implied.
