You are bidding on a classic 1969 Volkswagen Beetle.1600 Dual Port Motor. This is the first year of the independent suspension ! It runs VERY strong and VERY fast! It has a custom intake w/dual Weber carbs. Competion exhaust,competion shifter,postive 4. It has a new fuel tank and rebuilt carbs. Some of the custom stuff that's been done:The wing windows have been removed and replaced with larger door windows, also the rear window hinges and latches removed [old VW customizing tricks all for a cleaner look]. It has the Drop-A-Link suspension so you can raise or lower the front end. Custom wheels with near new MICHELIN XZX tires. The body is really solid/ with little or no rust.Very straight w/only a couple small dings on the whole car.The doors open and close very nice and tight.The interior is in pretty good condition as you can see in the pics.No rips or tears.[ you can get a complete brand new replacement interior kit for these Bugs for a very good price but honestly I wouldn't unless I was going for a restored look].The front bumper is in great shape,the rear is not.[easily sraightened at a bumper shop or find one on E-bay !] This car is in great shape for a car of this age.It is ready to drive as is. The paint used to be a beautiful Ice Blue but is now a bit faded and thin. [These pics are just a couple days ago,so you can see the paint isn't really bad at all] I just had it gone through by one of the best VW mechanics in town,he say's it needs nothing mechanicaly.Great gas mileage.
