1969 Honda CL

This is a rare 1969 CL175. Only 2 years for the forward 30' engine. Runs great. Shifts thru all 5 gears with a good clutch. Motor sounds very good. Good rubber, new battery, new mirrors, paint, drive chain, seat cover and fork seals and boots. The headlight works on high beam only. Horn works as well as the turn signals. However, they turn on but don't flash, so that needs a new flasher. Tank has new badges and has been cleaned and sealed. I overhauled the carbs and the petcock. The petcock, for some reason, drips a little gas into the carbs even when in the off position. Why I don't know - all looks good with new gasket in it. Doesn't seem to effect anything. Starts right up and goes very nicely. The tank is missing the correct rear rubber mount so I have a substitute so it won't vibrate. It also has a different tail light from original. The chrome is good with some lifting beginning on the front fender and mufflers. Still looks great. Lots of looks where ever I ride her. This is a 9.5 out of 10, but not quite a show bike. In the picture of the tank and gauges the spots on the tank are reflections of clouds. Tires are good with lots of life left in them. Shipping is buyers responsibility, I recommend U-Ship. I'd deliver up to 200 miles at $1 per loaded mile. I just found out today 8/13/2010, we'll have to be out of town for 10 days starting 8/20 - 8/30. So, if you buy this bike it will not be able to be picked up until after 8/30.
