Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a very original 1973 Datsun 240z Car is being relisted due to buyer had a family issue arise and asked to back out of the deal, I let him out of the deal- he was willing to honor his commitment but it would have been a strain on him. For all who were watching the car when listed prior - Second chances rarely come along- Don't let it get away twice. The car is in great shape and ready to drive, I just pulled it out of dry storage. The car is equipped with 1972 su side draft performance carbs/ all the 1973 carbs, intake and air cleaner come with the car. It has original Konig Rewind raceing wheels, also comes with the original stock wheels and hubcaps. The original interior is in great shape- has normal dash cracks ( not bad though), has original carpet and seat covers that are in great condition. Appears to be all original glass, original engine, trans and rear diff. Is complete with the original spare tire and all the jack and tools. The car has some add on accessories- The factory 240z side stripes Shadow rear window louvers ( no holes drilled ) Konig Rewind Raceing wheels. JVC am/fm cassette deck in dash. I have all the reciepts from day 1 for any and all repairs I have the original window sticker and sales info. , owners manual and Factory repair manual. The car was sold new from Micheal Imports in Kansas City Missouri. Alittle info on the car - the original owner purchased in 1973, owned for 34 years, sold it to a friend in 2007 he parked the car with only adding 200 miles to it. He is a z fanatic and owns 4 240z's He needed room for his Camaro project and needed to make space. So I helped him out. I have owned approx 10 240z's and it rekindled a passion, but I to need the space - I purchased it 10 mths ago thinking I would drive it or my 17 year old son would, but he still has not gotten his drivers license. As I said, I need the space in my garage. I have also kept it garaged as my friend did. There is a receipt for a repaint of the original color in 1995 and the paint still looks great. I have added a few pics as i had a few questions when it was listed prior so i figured I would add the photos and answer the questions- battery tray ( no rust ) , rear hatch ( no rust ), rear hatch lower panel ( no rust ) If you have any questions - send me a email. I just watched a one family owned 1973 240Z sell here on ebay for $16,100.00 here is he link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1973-Datsun-240Z-32K-orig-miles-Gorgeous-Estate-Car-/120612946974?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item1c1517841e I have priced for a quick sale - Hit the Buy it now before it goes away.On Sep-12-10 at 21:25:41 PDT, seller added the following information: I have had some questions-here are the answers, bottoms of the doors inside ( no rust )-drivers door rear has a couple small bubbles ( minor- ) you will also see in the driver door photo the front of the quarter looks good. Drivers front fender rear lower section has a couple small bubbles ( minor ) -The car has some minor rust spots -I had car inspected by a local body shop and they said it is all minor stuff especially for a 13 year old paint job. They were impressed with the fir & finish and the car as well.
