Vehicle Detail
Grandpa's car! Owned by my wife's Grandfather, We've had the car since 2001. I put about 30,000 trouble free miles on it since we acquired it. The car runs great and drive's really nice, but is starting to show its age cosmetically. There are no visible rust holes on the body, but some surface rust is present and there may be more serious corrosion beneath the chrome moldings on the bottom edge of the body. There are no major dents, possibly a couple door dings. Front bumper has considerable surface rust. Right front marker light lens is missing. Car is equipped with a 403ci 4 barrel & Turbo 400 transmission. The motor runs smooth and strong and moves the big beast pretty well. She's a great highway cruiser. Car is equipped with a custom-built single 2 1/2" exhaust - no tiny 2" tail pipe for this baby! The interior is in fair condition. There are no tears in the upholstery, but some discoloration is present on the carpet and floor mats. The dash pad has a few small cracks in it as do the arm rests. AM/FM radio works. Power windows work. Clock works. Power seats work, but driver's side control is loose from the seat pad. Steering wheel is cracked. Interior smells a bit musty. Cruise does not work. A/C worked several years ago, but seems to have lost enough refrigerant that it no longer cools properly - compressor, belt and all associated A/C parts are intact. Interior hood latch pull is broken, cable must be pulled under front bumper to open hood. Tires are pretty worn down. The car runs well enough that I wouldn't be afraid to drive it long distances, but the tires would be questionable. I require the winner to pay a $100 deposit to my paypal account within 24 hours of auction close with remainder to be paid in cash at the time of pickup. Car must be removed from my property within 2 weeks of the end of auction. I'm re-listing the car because the winning bidder on the last auction paid the deposit but did not pick up the car - I've given him three months to pick it up. Please, only bid if you can actually complete the transaction and pick up the car! Re-listing again because of a non-paying bidder. Never heard from him after the auction was complete.
