Here is another quality vehicle from our used car "corral". We have a large quantity of used trades and many are one owner like this Explorer. We will be listing all here on E-Bay, so keep checking back.
This one has "the look". Sometimes, a vehicle just jumps out at you and really makes a statement...this is one of those vehicles. There are loads of Ford Explorers on the road, but take a long look at this one.
This is a 2004 Ford Explorer Limited with just over 106,000 miles. It was a one owner truck that was garage kept and surely looks the part. The paint is a stunning "Ceramic White Pearl", that looks great. No body damage, rusted out panels or mismatched paint. A set of factory running boards and gleaming chrome rims add a touch of class.
The interior is extra clean and upholstered in Ebony leather. There are 3 rows of seating, with the 2nd and 3rd row able to fold flat. Up front are a pair of power buckets with a large center console. The driver's seat does show some wear on the side of the cushion. (see photo). There is a long list of comfort and convenience options usually found on upscale SUVs, here is a partial list. Power moonroof, 6 disc CD player, factory DVD player, power pedals, electronic climate control, power windows/locks/cruise/tilt wheel and seats. There are no smoke or pet odors in this truck.
The powertrain for this Explorer is a 4.0 V6 backed up by an automatic transmission and electonic transfer case. It is a simple operation to engage 4 wheel drive, just push a dash mounted switch. The engine runs very well with no dash warning lamps illuminated.
The tires are all matching Bridgestone blackwall radials mounted on the special Limited chrome wheels. These tires are worn and "choppy", they need to be replaced very soon. The truck will ride much smoother with a fresh set of tires.
We did have our service department look over this Explorer and a few recommendations were made. The right front wheel bearing was noisy and found to be worn, air filter dirty and, as mentioned, tires are worn. We did replace the wheel bearing and air filter. Front brakes were measured at 5mm, rears are at 2mm. Rear brake pads will be needed soon. No other obvious issues were reported. Our tech did change the oil/filter and check the vital fluids.
We have all the owner's booklets, 2 keys with remotes ( one remote does not function), DVD remote control and 1 pair of headphones. The DVD player was checked and it works fine. (see photo).
Not much more to say about this Explorer, a clean late model SUV with lots of style and single ownership. This is really not much difference here between a Lincoln Aviator and this Limited, check it out for yourself.

We cannot list every flaw in a pre-owned vehicle. Due to the mechanical complexity of modern vehicles, dash warning lights may illuminate for many reasons. We will NOT be responsible for service engine, check engine, traction control, SRS Airbag or ABS lights being illuminated after the sale. If any of these lights are on during our listing process, we will disclose it in the listing. Please be aware that you are not bidding on a NEW vehicle. Some vehicles will be offered with limited powertrain warrantees included in the purchase price. Extended coverage may be available at additional cost.
