This is one of the nicest CJ-7's you will find listed on Ebay at a starting price under $10K.This beauty was taken down to bare metal, any rust found was replaced with new steel. She was then repainted in a beautiful Black Pearl paint job approx. 3 yrs ago.This CJ still looks fresh today.I believe the mileage is actual at 117k(original speedo shows 113539/new speedo 4247) but all cars in Florida are sold as "miles exempt" after 20 years.The title according to Ebay was listed as Rebuilt/Rebuildable back in 1991 but the title I have in hand which was issued to me in 2008 by the State of Florida has no such stipulations.This CJ-7 Laredo rides and drives perfectly and the title I have is clear..When she was painted the plastic flares were replaced and so were all the lights and turn signal lenses.All the gauges were replaced in the dash but unfortunately the clock and gas gauge light up but still don't work.. Also at that time the front and rear seats were replaced with new black Bestop seats. The tan/spice bikini top and black rollbar pad with grab rails were also replaced as well.The engine is the classic hard pulling 258cc straight six cylinder that you cant kill. The tranny is the smooth shifting 5 speed w/overdrive unit.The 4 wheel drive works perfectly and the fluid was replaced in that about 6 months ago.The headlights were recently changed over to the new style headlamps jeep installs on the new wrangler.The turn signal lights,brake lights,dash lights,license plate light,even the under hood light and the ahooga horn and windshield wipers and fan motor all work.There is a locking center console and locking gas cap too.. And a 52w per channel sony xplod cd player w/mp3connection with 2 new speakers in the dash and 2 new speakers in the rear floor corners which sounds great even with the top down..In the last year I have installed a new steering stabilizer shock,new starter motor,new water pump,new front brake pads and new front brake lines,radiator core flushed and fluid replaced,new radiator overflow bottle,new windshield washer bottle,all new belts and hoses and a tuneup.The wheels are the original laredo chrome wagon wheels (5) and are in excellent condition for 25 yrs old.The tires are Michelins 31x10.5x15's and have about 3/4 life left on them except the spare which is brand new. The engine compartment is clean and dry except for a slight oil leak around the valve cover(like all cj's that have the original plastic valve cover) and if you leave her in the garage you will find a drop or 2 of oil on the floor after 3 days..The only thing that doesn't work normally is when you turn the ignition on to start you must release the key before it turns over. Everything else works as it should and she rides and drives down the road as if she were new.This Jeep only has a bikini top and no doors are included.You will not be disappointed with this Jeep and your friends will be envious of your new CJ..I will truly regret selling this CJ because it will be very hard to replace the look and condition of this beauty. Some more background: I have owned the jeep for 2 years. I am a captain with the fire dept in Miami,Fl. I bought the Jeep from a Miami police officer.He kept it garaged and so have I.This Jeep is in excellent condition.You wll not be dissappointed!
