This is a nice solid southern raised 1979 Pontiac Firebird Formula. The odometer reads 68,343 but I’m sure it is 168,343. The body and frame are rot free as well as the trunk and other spots that Firebirds are known to become weak. I only did a couple of minor fiberglass repairs to the front driver and passenger floors but that is all. The 4.9L 301 starts right up and runs very strong with no noises or smoke but could use a tune up. All the trim is present but has the windshield trim off due to it needing a windshield. It will need the two lower plastic grills and also a driver’s outside door handle, it works but is broken. All the lights and gauges work except for the fuel gauge. I put a new gas tank in but not a new sending unit because I thought it just had a bad ground connection. The car will need paint and interior work, like headliner, carpet, dash and seats repaired and I think the black paint looks a little better in the pictures than it really is. This Firebird would be easy to fix and drive while restoring or make into a nice cruiser. I am listing this at a very low no reserve price only because I don’t have the time, money or space to finish it before winter.
